Sponsors & Partners

Made In Melbourne is grateful to every sponsor and partner of the festival.  Without their invaluable support, MIM cannot happen each and every year.  As the festival progresses our 2016 partners and sponsors will grow but for now have a look at some of the organisations already involved with MIM and click on their respective logos to check out the websites.

City of Melbourne

This year, MIM are proud to be supported by the City of Melbourne through the 2016 Arts Grant. The support of City of Melbourne is invaluable to the festival and has opened doors for MIM that would not have been possible without funding.

This year, MIM will run over six days/nights and also expand on it's audience reach though new avenues, thanks to this grant. MIM will also now have the opportunity to screen at multiple venues, some of which are Melbourne's most prestigious.

MIM thanks the City of Melbourne for getting behind Melbourne's only film festival exclusively for local and Victorian filmmakers. Together we will celebrate art, local events, diversity and creativity – just some of the elements that have earned Melbourne the title of 'Most Liveable City'.

3CR Community Radio

MIM are proud to welcome 3CR as a 2016 Media Partner.

3CR is a dynamic community radio station in Fitzroy, Melbourne. Our broadcasters present over 120 radio programs every week and listeners can tune in on 855AM, 3CR Digital and live online at The radio station was established in 1976 to provide a voice for those denied access to the mass media, particularly the working class, women, Indigenous people and the many community groups, and community issues, discriminated against in, and by, the mass media.

Many 3CR broadcasters are community activists and therefore uniquely placed to present alternative current affairs, news and views. 3CR stages a number of special broadcasts annually to promote human rights issues, including Aboriginal rights, women’s rights and workers' rights. Unlike almost all other media organisations in Australia, 3CR is genuinely owned by the community - by the groups and individuals who broadcast, and by the people who listen to the station.
